देहरादून : मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी द्वारा प्रदेश के सरकारी विद्यालयों में पढ़ रहे छात्र-छात्राओं को लैब ऑन व्हील्स के माध्यम से चार मोबाईल सांइस लैब की सौगात दी गई है। शनिवार को मुख्यमंत्री आवास स्थित कैम्प कार्यालय में पहले मोबाईल सांइस लैब के विज्ञान मॉडलों का अवलोकन करते हुए चारों मोबाईल साइंस लैब को हरी झण्डी दिखाकर रवाना किया। इस दौरान मुख्यमंत्री ने विज्ञान मॉडलों को प्रदर्शित कर रहें पीएम श्री राजकीय इण्टर कॉलेज भीमावाला के छात्र-छात्राओं के साथ संवाद भी स्थापित किया।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि प्रदेश के दूर-दराज के क्षेत्रों में मोबाइल साइंस लैब की उपलब्धता छात्रों को विज्ञान की आधुनिकता से जोड़ने में सहायक होगी। उन्होंने कहा कि इसके विज्ञान आधारित विषयों की जानकारी मोबाइल वेन के माध्यम से छात्रों को उपलब्ध होगी, उन्होंने इस योजना को छात्रों के व्यापक हित में बताया।
यूकॉस्ट के महानिदेशक प्रो. दुर्गेश पंत ने बताया कि लैब ऑन व्हील्स के माध्यम से राज्य के ग्रामीण/दूरस्थ क्षेत्रों में विज्ञान को लोकप्रिय बनाने और विज्ञान संचार गतिविधियों को बढ़ावा देने कार्य किया जाना है। उत्तराखण्ड राज्य विज्ञान एवं प्रौद्योगिकी परिषद (यूकॉस्ट) एवं अगस्त्या इंटरनेशनल के सहयोग से इस परियोजना के अंतर्गत प्रयोगशाला, व्यावहारिक प्रदर्शनों /मॉडलों, विज्ञान गतिविधियों और प्रदर्शनों के माध्यम से प्रदेश के कक्षा छः से दसवीं तक के छात्र-छात्राओं को जीव विज्ञान, रसायन विज्ञान, भौतिकी, गणित आदि विषयों के पाठ्यक्रम को और अच्छे से सीखने एवं समझ पाने का अवसर प्रदान किया जाएगा। प्रो0 पंत ने कहा कि प्रदेश में परियोजना का संचालन दो चरणों में किया जा रहा है, प्रथम चरण में राज्य के 04 जिलों क्रमशः चम्पावत, अल्मोड़ा, देहरादून एवं पौड़ी में लैब ऑन व्हील्स का संचालन किया जा रहा है जिसके पश्चात दूसरे चरण में राज्य के सभी जनपदों में परियोजना का संचालन किए जाने का लक्ष्य रखा गया है।
इस अवसर पर विज्ञान एवं प्रौद्योगिकी सचिव नितेश झा, महानिदेशक विद्यालयी शिक्षा बंशीधर तिवारी ने भी लैब ऑन व्हील्स में प्रदर्शित विभिन्न विज्ञान आधारित मॉडलों का अवलोकन किया एवं छात्र-छात्राओं के साथ संवाद किया। इस दौरान डा. पीयूष जोशी, विकास नौटियाल, प्रहलाद अधिकारी एवं सहयोगी संस्था अगस्त्या इंटरनेशनल से शिव कुमार, विकास तिवारी, भीमावाला इण्टर कॉलेज के प्रधानाचार्य डा. एस.के अग्रवाल आदि उपस्थित थे।
